UV Light-Cured Adhesives

Devcon Tru-Bond™ light-cured adhesives offer the flexibility of unlimited open time plus the productivity of instant cure when exposed to UV light.

Tru-Bond™ Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA)
Tru-Bond™ PSA Series are UV curable pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs). Solvent-free liquids, the can be applied directly to parts or as films and then UV cured to create PSAs. These adhesives can be applied in a wide range of film or bead thicknesses and will cure within a broad range of UV dosages. Once cured, they provide an excellent balance of peel strength and creep resistance.

Tru-Bond™ Universal Bonding (UB)
Tru-Bond™ UB Series bonds rigid substrates to flexible substrates with UV/Visible light. Also cures through many translucent substrates, as well as UV blocked plastics. UB Series is weather-resistant and creates tough, durable bonds to glass, metals, plastics and ceramics.

Tru-Bond™ Plastic Bonding (PB)
Designed for bonding plastics including ABS, polycarbonate, and acrylic, Tru-Bond™ PB Series adhesives form flexible bonds with superior resilience and impact resistance. These adhesives cure in seconds when exposed to light—even through translucent substrates.

Tru-Bond™ Dual-Cure Coating (DC)
Thick version (#18300) forms hard, mar resistant domes on decals, jewelry, tags and emblems and can be dyed or pigmented. Thin version (#18305) flows and self-levels onto capacitors or resistors and forms a very thin film to protect flexible substrates.

Tru-Bond™ Glass Bonding (GB)
Designed for bonding glass to glass and dissimilar substrates such as steel and aluminum, Tru-Bond™ GB Series adhesives cure to a hard, rigid polymer when exposed to light.
